Health Coach Website Design Built Around a Personal Brand

Matt Dragos, Owner of Dragos Design Creative

Matt Dragos

Co-Owner of Dragos Design Creative

Steph Watson came to Dragos Design Creative with an established health and fitness coaching business and a clear audience. Her work focused on professional women looking to improve areas such as fitness, nutrition, gut health, hormones, and sustainable health habits.

Our job was to create a website and brand that could bring those different parts of her business into one consistent experience.

The project became a combination of custom WordPress website design, branding, consultation booking, client stories, and a custom approach to Steph’s supplement recommendations.

Rather than treating those as separate pieces, we designed the site around the way someone might actually discover Steph, learn about her approach, explore her services, and decide how they wanted to connect with her.

Creating a Brand Around Steph’s Audience

Branding was an important part of this project from the beginning.

Steph wanted a visual identity that felt polished, modern, and appropriate for an audience of professional women while still fitting naturally within the health and fitness space.

We designed a new logo and developed a broader visual system around it, including typography, colours, logo variations, and supporting design elements. That work became a brand guide Steph could use beyond the website across social media, email, and other marketing materials.

The website followed the same direction. Instead of relying on the visual clichés often associated with fitness brands, we used a more refined palette, strong typography, clean layouts, and photography to give Steph Watson Health its own personality.

It is one of the reasons we like projects where branding and logo design happen alongside the website. Decisions about the logo, colours, typography, photography, buttons, and page layouts can all be made as parts of the same system rather than trying to make an existing collection of pieces fit together later.

Making Coaching Services Easier to Explore and Book

A major part of the website was creating a clearer path between learning about Steph and taking the next step.

We organized her services so visitors could understand the different ways Steph worked with clients while using calls to action throughout the site to make consultation booking easy to find.

The booking experience included real-time scheduling, lead capture, client intake information, and automated appointment confirmations and reminders.

That meant the website could support more of the process surrounding an initial consultation rather than simply displaying a phone number or asking visitors to begin a back-and-forth email conversation.

We also designed the experience to work across desktop and mobile devices, including navigation, text, imagery, forms, and buttons. For an online coaching business, the booking process needed to feel like a natural continuation of the website rather than a separate experience visitors had to figure out.

Building a Supplement Experience Without a Traditional Store

One of the more interesting parts of Steph Watson Health was the supplement section.

Steph recommended specific supplements as part of her broader approach to health and wanted a dedicated place where visitors could explore those recommendations.

She did not need a traditional e-commerce system with inventory, fulfillment, or direct product sales.

Instead, we created a visual supplement experience built around affiliate products. Individual recommendations could include product imagery, useful information, discount codes, and direct affiliate links that sent visitors to the appropriate retailer to complete their purchase.

This allowed the supplement area to feel like part of Steph’s overall website and expertise without creating an unnecessary online store infrastructure.

It was an important distinction in how we approached the project. Sometimes the right website solution is not the most complicated one. The functionality should reflect how the business actually operates.

Using Client Stories to Support the Brand

Steph already had client experiences and transformations that were important to her coaching story, so we gave those a prominent role within the website.

The design incorporated before-and-after imagery, written testimonials, video testimonials, certifications, and other credibility elements throughout the experience.

Rather than isolating all of that information on a page visitors might never reach, social proof could appear alongside the services and information it helped support.

For a personal coaching brand, the person behind the business is a major part of what someone is considering. The website therefore needed room for Steph’s experience, approach, personality, and client stories, not simply a list of coaching packages.

That helped us build a site that felt personal while still maintaining the polished visual direction established through the new branding.

Bringing the Website Together

What we enjoyed about Steph Watson Health was how many parts of a personal coaching business came together within one project.

The branding established a recognizable visual identity. The website organized Steph’s services and approach. The booking system gave prospective clients a direct next step. Testimonials and client transformations supported her story, while the supplement section provided a completely different way to interact with her recommendations.

None of those elements needed to dominate the website on its own.

Instead, we designed them as connected parts of the Steph Watson Health brand, giving the business a website that reflected the breadth of what Steph was offering at the time and provided a clear structure for presenting it online.
